Protests groups are already gathering at Hong Kong’s main government complex for a demonstration after the administration did not respond to their demands by the deadline. Organizers are asking supporters to “hold picnics” outside the legislature beginning at 07:00 Friday morning, recommending a “go-slow protest” on roads and public transport, and to gather in other parts of the city.
