Deaths due to malaria outbreak in Isiolo District, Eastern Province, Kenya

Two children under 10 years and 2 women have died from malaria. At least 200 people have been infected in the Isiolo District.

Any traveller to any region where malaria transmission is occurring can reduce their risk of exposure by taking all necessary precautions to avoid mosquito bites. Anti-malaria medication is recommended.
