Facemasks Can be Removed Outdoors - Japan

On 23 June, the Ministry of Health asked members of the public to remove their face masks outdoors, especially during the summer. The advisory was issued to prevent the risk of heat strokes. Wearing facemasks indoors is also optional if social distancing can be maintained.
