Tiananmen Tributes Axed By Hong Kong Churches
On 30 May, church services to honour the 1989 crackdown in Tiananmen Square, China were revoked in Hong Kong. The services have been cancelled to avoid breach of the national security law imposed in 2020. All forms of commemorating the 1989 incident in Hong Kong have been erased in the past few months.
