Este evento \u00e9 o maior encontro de pessoas do mundo todos os anos. Milh\u00f5es de peregrinos re\u00fanem-se na Ar\u00e1bia Saudita para este evento. Mas este ano h\u00e1 preocupa\u00e7\u00f5es porque o v\u00edrus recentemente descoberto que est\u00e1 a causar uma forma grave de pneumonia altamente letal continua a aparecer em v\u00e1rios locais por todo o pa\u00eds. Este v\u00edrus tem sido chamado de coronav\u00edrus da S\u00edndrome Respirat\u00f3ria do M\u00e9dio Oriente, ou MERS-coronav\u00edrus.<\/p>\n<p id=\"0b27\" class=\"graf graf--p graf-after--p\">Desde que este v\u00edrus foi descoberto no ano passado, foram identificados 96 casos desta doen\u00e7a na Ar\u00e1bia Saudita, dos quais 47 morreram. Tem havido apenas uma propaga\u00e7\u00e3o muito limitada de pessoas doentes a contactos muito pr\u00f3ximos, tais como pessoas que cuidam de um membro da fam\u00edlia com a doen\u00e7a ou de alguns trabalhadores da sa\u00fade em ambientes hospitalares.
