You can help spot health problems during FIFA World Cup in Brazil
The Brazilian Ministry of Health has created “HEALTHY CUP” which is a free world cup app for mobile devices.
It’s a simple app that relies on voluntary participation by visitors or residents in Brazil for reporting any health symptoms you might have while visiting Brazil during the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The symptoms you can report include fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, joint pain, headache, bleeding, and skin rashes. It also contains a wealth of information such as contact information for public health services and locations of nearby hospitals and pharmacies. The app is available in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. By reporting any symptoms, you can help identify problems early and stop possible outbreaks of illness.
iOS users can download the app from Apple’s App Store, and Android users via Google Play.
