Sharing Is Caring

We’re happy to announce some great updates to Sitata (some of which you may have noticed already). Most exciting, is the fact that we’re starting to open up our API so that we can share more of our data with you!

Our Maps Are Your Maps

Previously, we were only capable of having a single map for each disease, but this was silly. Now we can do multiple maps. This allows you to see what WHO recommends versus CDC and quickly switch between the two! How awesome is that?!? Of course, we still present the Sitata recommendations which are more or less an accepted average from the authoritative sources.

We’re Sharing Our Maps For Use On Your Website!

We’ve had a ton of compliments about the mapping features within the Sitata platform. So much so that many companies, both large and small, have asked to use them on their own website. We thought this was an great idea!

We’re proud to announce that you can now place our disease and alert maps right into your own website! It will certainly add a little flash and show your clients that you have the most up to date travel information.

If you’d like to find out how to do this, simply visit our documents section for web developers. If you or your web developer needs help in the setup, we’re more than happy to assist. Just reach out to us and we’ll get you started.

This is part of a larger effort to open up our platform and share our data with the world in meaningful ways. Stay tuned to see what we’ll come up with next.

Sitata Está Ahora en Español

As we hinted to previously, there was a lot of demand form travellers and several international companies to provide our services in a language other than English. We’re happy to announce that we are finally able to do so.

We started with Spanish because of the demand and this is actually a language that we’re most familiar with. Don’t worry! For most, you won’t notice the change and it will not impact your current workflow on the Sitata platform. You’re not expected to speak Spanish, but now we are!

Additional Countries

Unfortunately, we spent so much effort on our translations that we had to put a pause on adding new countries to our system. Which countries would you like to see included next? Don’t be afraid to write in to us and speak your mind.

New Contact Number

We have recently added a new toll-free number for our offices. Feel free to have a chat with us at +1 (877) 571–1089. The number is listed in the footer of our website in case you lose it, and our online support system is always available.

What Are We Doing Next?

Appointment Bookings

We’re still working on our appointment booking system; however, I guarantee you it will be worth the wait. We’re not quite finished yet and so if you have any ideas or specific feature requests, please let us know!

Points of Interest

Look forward to us adding various points of interest that would be useful for a traveller to have at their fingertips. The first type that we’re planning to add are hospital locations, but there are many more! Write to us if you have anything else in mind.

That’s all for now. Thank you for taking the time to read this post and please feel free to reach out to us to let us know how we’re doing!
